New Student Registration
Tularosa Schools will begin registering students for the fall semester on Tuesday, July 26th, 2022 for new Students in PreK through 8th Grade. Students registering for Highschool Will need to visit in person to complete registration due to transcripts and credit placement.
Student Pre-Registration Portal
Upon completing the form for new student registration, an account for your student will be created pending valid address and age check. You will then receive an email at the email address provided with an access code and password to finish registration and to link your new parent account to that of your student.
You will in the process on enrollment be required to upload a copy of the following:
Birth Certificate (Also acceptable in place of would be a passport, military ID, adoption records or a church baptismal record that includes date of birth)
Proof of District Residency (Current Utility Bill, Tax Record, Mortgage Receipt or a current signed lease or rental agreement notarized)
*Students who reside outside of the district will be denied until approved for entry by Wavering out of their home district and review of students academic, attendance and discipline records from prior schools.
Returning Student Registration
Returning students will be given information to take home on the first day of school for parents to setup accounts with PowerSchool Parent Portal. The school district will be utilizing the portal starting this year for more communication and distribution of student information.
Parents/Guardians, any students attending Tularosa Municipal Schools are required to provide proof of completed immunizations in accordance with New Mexico state laws unless a current, approved exemption is provided from the state. For specific details and schedules, please contact your schools nurse.
Students will once again be issued Chromebook's for school usage. Unlike prior years students will be financially responsible for any repairs due to negligent use. A fee schedule is below for common repairs. If a students device is broken and the fee is unpaid the student will not be issued a replacement device and a fee hold will be placed on the student account. Any device that suffers from a normal wear or technical glitch will be promptly replaced at no charge to the student.
