The TMS Mighty Mighty Wildcats Robotics team is ready to rock the state competition today! Special thanks to our sponsors: Otero County Electric Company, Alamo Earthwork, McGinn’s Pistachioland, Casa Auto Group, Fillmore Eye Clinic, Heart of the Desert Pistachios and Wine, Richardson Motors, and Blue Sky LLC. We wouldn’t be here without your generous support of STEM in our schools!

On their way to state competition, Tularosa Robotics students from TMS and THS stopped for a tour of the mechanical engineering department at New Mexico Tech, then toured the university’s Mineral Museum, which houses over 5,000 rocks and minerals from all over the world. Afterwards, they traveled west to have a guided tour of the Very Large Array (VLA) facility where they learned all about radio telescopes and the work being done right here in New Mexico! Special thanks to Mr. Allen for scheduling all of these adventures for our students!

Good luck to the TMS Mighty Mighty Wildcats and the THS RosaRobos teams as they travel to Albuquerque to compete in the FIRST Robotics Tech Challenge tomorrow!
