TIS Lil Wildcat Brave, Jax Lathan was invited to participate at the Mescalero Daycare Site to read a few of his favorite childhood books (5) to the kids there. Also participating was Miss Mescalero XLV, MaKayla Rocha. They enjoyed refreshments of cookies and milk. Jax and his mother, Rylee Chino, also gifted all the kids with a toy. Jax Lathan and Miss Mescalero are fine examples of volunteering within their Homeland the Mescalero Apache Tribe and surrounding communities.

Parents please send your child to school with a refillable water bottle.
The Village of Tularosa is currently under a precautionary boil water advisory. To ensure the health and safety of our students and staff, Tularosa Municipal Schools will provide bottled water throughout the school day and during all after-school activities until the advisory has been lifted. Parents/guardians are also encouraged, if possible, to send their child to school with a reusable water bottle or water jug filled with safe drinking water.
