Parent Alert: Shelter in Place at Tularosa Middle School
Dear Parents and Guardians,
This morning, Tularosa Middle School initiated a shelter in place out of an abundance of caution due to a safety concern regarding a possible weapon on campus. We immediately followed our safety protocols and worked in coordination with local law enforcement to ensure the safety of all students and staff.
The building was thoroughly cleared and the shelter in place has now been lifted. The situation has been resolved and no one was harmed.
We want to assure you that we take all potential threats very seriously. Appropriate steps have been taken, and there is no ongoing threat to our school community.
We appreciate your support and trust as we continue to prioritize the safety and well-being of all students and staff.

Tularosa Baseball earned the 6 seed in the State Playoff Bracket. We will host #11 Ruidos in a best of 3 series. First game will be Friday, May 9th at 7PM. Game 2 will be on Saturday, May 10th at 11AM. If necessary, game 3 will be 30 minutes after the conclusion of game 2. All tickets will be sold at the gate and will be $5 per NMAA.
Tularosa Softball earned the 8 seed in the State Playoff Bracket and will travel to Dexter on May 7th to face Tohatchi at 5PM. Loser of the game is eliminated and the winner will play #1 seed Dexter at 7PM
