Estrella Muniz and Isaiah Johnson, both 2nd Graders at TES, showed fantastic leadership today by showing care for our school by picking up trash during their lunch time recess. Both students were not asked. They both saw the need and jumped in to help. What excellent examples of being good citizens!

🦋📚🍎 Once Upon a Snack: Family Engagement in Action!
Families joined us for Once Upon a Snack, where Ms. Rebecca Norris used The Very Hungry Caterpillar to show how early literacy and math can be naturally embedded into everyday routines like snack time. Through hands-on fun, families practiced strengthening little hands with tongs, building talking and listening skills by asking simple story questions, sequencing events with words like first, next, then, last, and exploring early math by counting fruit and talking about more, less, and how many.
Building early learning skills while reading, talking, and eating together makes learning meaningful—and fun—for everyone! 💚

Days: Monday to Wednesday
Time: 4:00-5:00 (students will stay after school)

As our community continues to grieve the loss of one of our students, we recognize the importance of coming together in support of the family and one another.
To allow students, staff, and community members the opportunity to attend the funeral services and to honor the life of our student, school will not be in session on Monday, the 12th. This closure is intended to provide time and space for reflection, remembrance, and community support during this difficult period.
Classes will resume as scheduled on Tuesday the 13th.
Thank you for your understanding, compassion, and continued support of our school community.
