You may be wondering, “What is HOSA?” Here’s a little information about this incredible organization!

HOSA–Future Health Professionals is a global, student-led organization recognized by the U.S. Department of Education, the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services, and several other federal and state agencies.

HOSA’s mission is to empower future health professionals to become leaders in the global health community through education, collaboration, and experience. The organization promotes career opportunities in the health industry while helping students develop the knowledge, leadership skills, and experience needed to pursue careers in healthcare.

HOSA is more than just a club—it is a powerful instructional tool that can be integrated into health science education and related classroom programs. Through leadership development, competition, hands-on learning, and community involvement, HOSA helps prepare the next generation of healthcare professionals.

This year, Tularosa High School HOSA has 20 members competing! We are excited about the year ahead and look forward to working with our community and building partnerships with local organizations.

Third graders and new Wildcats, the moment you’ve been waiting for is almost here! Very soon, fate will decide which of our FOUR HOUSES you’ll call home for the rest of your journey at TIS. Four houses… but ONE Wildcat Nation.

To work around some already-scheduled activities, we’re moving House Sorting up; it will now take place THIS WEEK!
