Dear Parents and Guardians,

As our community continues to grieve the loss of one of our students, we recognize the importance of coming together in support of the family and one another.

To allow students, staff, and community members the opportunity to attend the funeral services and to honor the life of our student, school will not be in session on Monday, the 12th. This closure is intended to provide time and space for reflection, remembrance, and community support during this difficult period.

Classes will resume as scheduled on Tuesday the 13th.

Thank you for your understanding, compassion, and continued support of our school community.

Dear Tularosa Families and Community Members, It is with a heavy heart and profound sadness that I share the news of the passing of one of our own, Arianna Elize Hamilton-Cordova. Arianna was a vibrant and beloved soul within our Tularosa Middle School family. As a dedicated cheerleader, she was the heartbeat of our school spirit—bringing a sense of energy, kindness, and a bright light to our campus that will be deeply missed by everyone who knew her. During this incredibly difficult time, our priority is wrapped entirely around our students, our educators, and most importantly, Arianna’s family. We know that grief can feel like an overwhelming weight, and it is a weight no one should have to carry alone. Community Support and Healing To provide a dedicated space for healing, remembrance, and comfort, Tularosa Middle School will be open for both support groups and individualized counseling: When: Monday, December 29th Time: 10:00 AM – 2:00 PM Where: Tularosa Middle School Who: All students, staff, and families are welcome Whether you need a safe place to talk, a moment of silence, or simply the comfort of being in the company of others, please feel free to stop by during these hours. Donations of snacks or drinks to share for staff, students and counselors is appreciated. Our deepest thoughts and prayers are with the Hamilton-Cordova family. Tularosa High School would like to give a HUGE shout out to Au Jus BBQ for catering our staff today. The food was amazing and they always go above and beyond. We appreciate you very much.

Senior Picture Retakes will take place on January 15th starting at 8:30 a.m. These are the students' cap and gown and drape/tux phones. This is only for THS seniors.
