Teacher Academy I students kicked off their very first assignment with creativity and style! Their task? Design a welcome board or a subject-themed board, their choice.
From bright colors to fun themes, they definitely understood the assignment! 🍎✨

When Ms. Hill asked the Teacher Academy II class to decorate the Driver’s Ed/Athletics/College Monitoring portable… they didn’t hesitate, challenge accepted!
Our future educators jumped into the project with enthusiasm, creativity, and teamwork. What started as a simple request quickly turned into an opportunity for students to showcase their leadership, artistic talents, and school pride.

Dear Parents and Guardians,
Thank you for your continued support of Tularosa Middle School. We want to share a quick attendance update from last week and ask for your partnership.
Regular attendance is important for student success and helps build strong habits that prepare students for life and work. Last week, our overall attendance was 85%, and our goal is to reach 90% or higher. Students will be recognized by grade level for the best attendance, but we need your help to improve our overall numbers.
We understand that absences happen due to appointments or illness. When your child is absent, please call, email, or send a note when they return so the absence can be excused.
Thank you for supporting your child’s success and helping us build strong attendance habits.
Sincerely,
Caesar Alvarez
Principal, Tularosa Middle School

This special collaboration allowed our future educators to build meaningful connections with younger students while gaining valuable classroom experience. The elementary students enjoyed engaging stories and time spent with the high school mentors, and our Teacher Academy students strengthened their confidence, leadership, and communication skills.
We are proud of our THS Teacher Academy I students for representing Tularosa High School so well and for inspiring a love of reading in our younger Wildcats!

Tularosa Preschool recently hosted a hands-on workshop designed just for parents of young children! 💛
Parents learned simple, practical ways to help their preschoolers:
🌟 Calm their bodies
💬 Understand and express emotions
🤝 Build connection through touch and play
Best of all, families are left with easy routines and helpful resources they can start using at home right away! When we support parents, we strengthen children -- and that's what it's all about! ❤️

From sunlight to science, our THS students transformed their knowledge of photosynthesis and cellular respiration into beautiful works of art.

We are so excited to offer the Summer Learning Program at Tularosa Intermediate School for grades Pre-K to 8th grade. This year we will have reading and math supports. Sign Up Today!
