Parents/Guardians, Bus 25 will be delayed this morning. There will be a 45 minute delay in student pickup for bus 25 riders.
Tularosa Schools would like to inform all parents and community members that earlier today, THS administrators were notified of a possible weapon on campus . As per our established safety protocols, the school's administration and law enforcement worked swiftly to ensure the situation was thoroughly assessed and addressed. We are happy to report that the situation has been resolved and that everyone is safe. We want to assure all parents and community members that the safety of our students and staff remains our top priority. Our staff followed the appropriate procedures and protocols,. We are proud of our school's preparedness and response to ensure the safety and security of all individuals on our campus. We would like to express our appreciation to law enforcement for their swift response and support during this incident. We also want to commend our students, teachers, and staff for their cooperation. As always, we encourage parents and community members to remain vigilant and report any potential safety concerns to the school administration or local law enforcement. Tularosa High School Seniors - remember to make an appointment for your senior portraits. Appointments must be made by the end of this week! Portraits will take place on Saturday, August 26 from 9-3 and are by appointment only; walk-ins will not be allowed. Please contact Ms. Bussiere if you have any questions.

Any Tularosa High School Student interested in taking Dual Enrollment Classes with ENMU-Ruidoso is being asked to attend with their parent/guardian the information session on Wednesday, August 9th from 4-6 p.m. at the THS Library. ENMU-Ruidoso advisors will be there to answer any questions and help fill out paperwork. Remember: New Mexico Graduation Requirements require all students to take one credit of honors, AP, or college.
Parents/Guardians, a reminder that school starts Tomorrow, Monday August 7th. Bell schedules have adjusted, please remember to have students at bus stops at least 15 minutes prior than last year and remember they will now be dropped off 15 minutes later than normal.

All High School students are to report to school by 7:55 a.m. Printed schedules will be available to all students in front of the administration and student services offices by alphabetical order. Please remember, all schedule changes must be completed by the end of the school day on Tuesday. High School students wishing to sign up for schedule changes must do so using the link found in their grade level Google Classroom.

Senior picture day will be Saturday, August 26th. Seniors will sign up the first week of school!
Tularosa High will hold a preseason parent meeting on Wednesday, the 9th at 6:30 PM in the THS gym. All parents/guardians of THS students that plan to participate in any sport during the 2023-2024 year are highly encouraged to attend.
